Loan Administration Specialist

Frontier Bank is hiring a detail-oriented, customer-focused Loan Administration Specialist to join our lending team. If you enjoy partnering with lenders, managing loan files from application to payoff, and delivering exceptional service while keeping compliance and accuracy front and center, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Collect, organize, and verify loan application documentation before submission to underwriting.
  • Build and maintain loan files from application through origination, servicing, payoff, and retention.
  • Enter loan application and underwriting data into the processing system and generate required loan documents.
  • Prepare loan closings: review documents, schedule closings, validate fees and figures, fund loans, and balance post-closing transactions.
  • Manage post-closing documentation, enter closed loans into the core system including escrows and PMI, and monitor loan builds for accuracy.
  • Process escrow servicing payments to tax authorities and insurance providers and prepare escrow analysis statements.
  • Assist customers with servicing inquiries including PMI removal eligibility, escrow questions, and insurance claims.
  • Maintain the department pipeline, produce monthly reports and reconciliations, and prepare documentation for audits and examinations.
  • Ensure HMDA reporting accuracy and complete annual HMDA submission.
  • Review BSA risk information for loan customers and maintain proper account ratings.
  • Support sales and relationship growth by opening deposit accounts, onboarding customers, and leveraging prospecting tools.
  • Mentor and cross-train branch staff and collaborate with Portfolio Managers to source business.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; related experience in loan operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience or willingness to learn lending platforms such as Sageworks/Abrigo and the Bank’s loan processing system.
  • Understanding of federal and state lending laws and regulations and strong compliance mindset.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
