Frontier Bank of Texas is looking for a Loan Administration Specialist to support the day-to-day operations behind our lending team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with details, helping others, learning new things, and being part of a team that keeps everything moving behind the scenes.

You’ll work alongside Loan Administration team members, Relationship Coordinators, lenders, and other Bank employees to help keep loan records accurate, complete, and up to date. You’ll also have opportunities to serve our customers and help build and maintain meaningful relationships with Frontier Bank. 

What You'll Be Doing

Keeping an eye on the details 

• Complete assigned loan quality-control reviews, verify documentation and system information, identify discrepancies or exceptions, and help make sure corrections are completed. 

Keeping loans moving 

• Process authorized routine loan maintenance and file-maintenance requests, including payment, billing, system, servicing changes, and draws. You'll research routine discrepancies and know when something needs additional review. 

Helping with paid loans and collateral releases 

• Assist with paid-loan processing, Collateral Release Forms, titles, original promissory notes, lien releases, and other collateral documentation while maintaining the appropriate supporting records.
• Review incoming loan documents and accurately image, index, file, and maintain them. You'll also help with file cleanup, document maintenance, record corrections, and identifying missing or inconsistent documentation.

Supporting specialized loans 

• Help board assigned Woodside loans into the Bank's core processing system, verify information against approved loan documentation, and provide ongoing servicing support for these relationships. 

Being a go-to teammate 

• Respond to routine emails, phone calls, servicing requests, and customer questions. You'll collaborate with Loan Administration Officers, Relationship Coordinators, lenders, branch employees, and other departments to help resolve everyday operational needs. 

Pitching in wherever needed 

• Help with special projects, research, reconciliations, file cleanup, and other operational assignments. You'll stay current on Bank systems, loan products, policies and procedures, complete required training, and participate in community or CRA activities as requested. 

What We're Looking For

You don't have to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions when something doesn't look right.

You'll need:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, customer service, and follow-through.
• The ability to read and follow loan approvals, basic loan documents, procedures, system information, and written instructions.
• Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, along with the ability to learn additional Bank systems.
• Prior banking, lending, loan operations, document processing, records administration, customer service, or related experience is preferred.
• Experience with loan maintenance, construction draws, quality control, document imaging, paid loans, or collateral releases is a plus, but isn't required if you're ready and able to learn. 

Know When to Ask

You'll have the independence to handle routine assigned work within established procedures and authority. When an issue involves policy exceptions, legal matters, unusual collateral situations, significant compliance concerns, or complex servicing decisions, you'll know when to bring in a Loan Administration Officer or department leader.
